Vocation ~ When the heart’s calling wakes up to the world’s great need

After 12 years of practice, Todd is thrilled to open the doors to Pathways right here in his own backyard. He and his wife, Katie, have been rooted in Black Mountain since 2000, living their lives and raising their 3 amazing daughters. The journey has been full-circle in that he first hung out his shingle with a talented team of practitioners at Source For Well-Being in June 2007, one of whom, Rebecca Word, invited him into this opportunity to serve in this fantastic location!

Todd holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Minor in Outdoor Education from the University of New Hampshire, and a diploma from the AEE accredited Outdoor Leadership Program from Greenfield Community College in Massachusetts. Todd worked extensively with at-risk youth for eight years in the field of wilderness therapy, both as a front-line field instructor and in a Staff Director role, supporting adolescents in emerging from self-defeating behaviors and identities to more self-assured, caring and responsible young adults.

Todd’s Reputation Speaks for Itself

Todd also carries a practice in West Asheville at Asheville Community Acupuncture (ACA), a community style clinic created to uphold the social responsibility of quality accessible care where he has been an integral team member since 2009. Todd offers weekly appointments at this location also.
