As a certified ChiRunning® and ChiWalking® instructor Todd Walker works with clients both individually and in group classes. These practices marry well with Chinese Medicine and Tai Chi through the philosophy of applying balance and focus to movement so as to allow running and walking to be efficient and aligned with the way our bodies are meant to move.
Over the past 10 years of practice, Todd has encountered a multitude of injuries and physical imbalances in his clinic nearly every day. He has been fortunate enough to be part of the solution to get people out of pain and discomfort with acupuncture and herbal medicine.
Todd realized that the biggest challenge his clients and he face revolves around identifying what patterns of movement resulted in their chronic, limiting pain. This knowledge can then be applied to learning more efficient movement patterns that rely on the structure and core of the body in order to maximize the joy and performance of running, walking, hiking, etc.
Many of Todd’s clients confess that they believe injuries are inherent in running. Todd intends to challenge that belief in a big way!
